Jamaal Johnson, JD, is the founder and chair at Jamaal Johnson, Esq., Attorney at Law.  Mr. Johnson previously worked with intellectual property, entertainment, immigration, civil, and criminal matters.   He brings his culmination of experience to Jamaal Johnson, Esq., Attorneys at Law, with a passion to help those seeking justice. 

 

Mr. Johnson came of age in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he received his bachelor's degree in computer science from Southern University and A&M college, graduating with honors. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctor and served as president of the law school's Intellectual Property Society and received notable scholarships from the Houston Intellectual Property Association and the Houston Corporate Bar Section. Mr. Johnson graduated law school cum laude, and was a member of a graduating class that obtained the highest bar passage rate in the school's history.  He is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas and the United States Federal Court, Southern District of Texas.

 

Jamaal spends most of his free time being a Dad to his children.  His children are active in sports and social activities and Jamaal serves as a volunteer coach on most of their  teams, year round. In doing so, Jamaal is able to give back to the community by mentoring to other young children.  During these moments, Jamaal is able to reflect and give thanks; and, these opportunities also fuel his efforts in seeking justice, and thus, peace in the U.S., and, across the Globe.
